• Comfort for Connie Arrives! -Slabs

May 1st 2018 Good day everyone! We have been at the Slabs again for a few days, and were anxiously waiting for Monday to roll around. I am pretty proud of Doug and I for being able to keep a secret. When we rolled in on Friday, you could tell Connie was a little disheartened when she didn’t see a trailer being towed in behind the rig. Of course she …Continue Reading

  • We Sold the House!

December 17th, 2017 After a few months on the market, our home sold in October, and the new owner took possession December 2nd. Although we knew the sale of the house would be a matter of time, it actually caught us off guard. Suddenly it was a reality, and I have to be frank and say for the record that it was an emotional roller coaster for me! In spite … Continue Reading

  • Our Introduction to RV Living

Our Introduction to RV Living. Back in August of 2012, we left Kelowna to attend a Wedding out of town. Santana was always left in her crate when we were gone for extended periods of time, but for some reason, we decided to leave her loose in the house that day. Gizmo our little calico was also in the home. On our way back from the wedding we got a … Continue Reading

    Hi Sherry,
It indicated that I had already sent the post. Have you received something from me already?

    Hi Sherry,
I am Pat Frangente and we met you at Pechanga Resort where our Dobie, Tori, enjoyed playing with your Journey. We recently lost our beloved girl. I remember your saying that you could share the name of the person who had your Chicago and that they often had young adults available. I hope you can still help me. Thank you so much.

Hi you guys, Bill from salton sea. Nice blog.

    • Well hello Bill! So glad you logged on. As you can see I am about a month or so behind, and a lot of posts were written rather fast so there are some errors I need to fix. I hope we see you again! We are headed back to the Slabs to have Solar Mike put panels on our unit in two days! We told him you said hello! I regret that we were so worn out when we met that we did not spend more time together. We have really been busy since leaving Canada! Perhaps we will see you before we leave…. or next year! If you ever want to text to keep in touch our cell is 250-718-6410 I am sure you do not have Canada, USA calling, but we can call you anytime! Be safe…stay healthy… and here’s to hoping we meet again soon! When I get the blog all caught up, I think you will find a ton of interesting photography, videos. testimonies and stories 🙂 KEEP IN TOUCH will ya? Cheers for now… Sherry and Doug

We are thrilled to have met you both! We can hardly wait for our paths to cross again! Safe travels, great adventures!

    • Hey hey hey Janet and George!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh what a thrill it was to meet you in the Slabs! Your stories touched us deeply and your love for us was a beautiful thing. I have the roses you made for me before we left and I will cherish them forever. George’s story about tomatoes and his tales about living life as a survivor of war will touch many people. We feel blessed for the testimony he gave us on video. What a tender soul. We hold you both in our prayers and we will keep in touch. Our email is knightrider360.com@gmail.com Our paths will most definitely cross again. We plan on returning to the slabs 🙂 That will shock a lot of people after some of the things we saw and experienced…lol…. but you know as well as we do, that it is a special place. It’s not for everyone, that’s for sure. 😉 However, after getting over our fear and being so well received…. we know we will be returning for a much longer time than this last go. Keep in touch… love to you both. And George… “stay alive”, and I will do the same 😉 hugs – Sherry and Doug
